Masks, yes. Barrels, sort of. I still would rather not spend over $50-$80 for a barrel. I could have my buddy Scott make one out of PVC pipe, and hone it out. He made a 22" barrel out of it and honed and micrhoned it out, spiral ported it, etc and it shoots like the best barrels out there. He covered it in camouflage wallpaper to blend it in (yes, its a woodsball barrel).

It's been played with before, but plastic has a tendency to bend and change shape. I wouldn’t trust a PVC barrel at all. The weather would affect it too much.
Also anything over 8-10 inches is ineffective for accuracy. Studies show that after the first 7-8 inches, the length no longer helps the accuracy of the paint. The idea is to get it out of the barrel as quick as you can without breaking, as accurate as you can.

My cousin did that when he was in college (He was in engineering classes), he said he sold it though. But he said it was insanely accuracte, I kinda beleive him on that.

You're right, the freak system isn't, but JJ's claim to shoot out the shots when they do not. They still leave a messy coating on the inside, it's all hype.

True, but i don't own a fuzzy stick so i can't clean it out. i can't find any locally and I'm NOT paying shipping for a small item like that.

Yah, pay around $10 just to have a barrel swab mailed to you! No thanks!

xD, 3 buck is the average I see, plus shipping and handling is 2 or 3 bucks more. I got one of those flex ones that get all of it, I love it.

Accuracy is achieved through many things. The quality of the paintballs, the quality of your barrel, the quality of your regs, the kick of your gun. the quality of your gun (probably the least important). Good regs mean good consistancy, good barrels means the balls don't fly to the side, good paintballs mean they fly straight, and your gun not kicking makes high rates of fire more accurate.

Titanium Paintball Longbow Barrel System | Paintball Review | pbReview.com
if you really want a nice barrel and money isnt an issue..
one of the best underrated 2-piece barrels out there at the moment.
blows all the freaks, ULs, typical overhyped barrels out of the water.
dont even touch any of those new carbon fiber barrels, all overhyped by the new gen players.
if you want to go cheap. CP 1 piece or 2-piece barrels( for option of changing bores)
and who said paint doesnt matter? How could one be accurate /w inconsistent ball fills and inconsistent ball sizes.. most problems /w cheap paint. Any barrel cant just magically solve those problems no matter how "good" it is.
