Spyder pilot ACS for a beginner?

Is it bad to start some one off with a low-end eletric gun? Ex: Spyder pilot ACS? I wanted to get my little bro into paintball. And My only other gun (ATM) is a spyder sonix and the triggers are very different. Is there really a difference between the two guns?, besides the triggers?

No big differences at all, the Pilot has the e-trigger (has you know) and an ACS bolt.

The sonix have a delrin bolt too, but no ACS, and is mech.

Both will shoot the sames, so yeah it is correct to start with a Pilot ACS.

Yeah, starting him off with a Spyder Pilot ACS is definitely the way to go. It's fairly decent, and can shoot pretty fast, so he'll learn how to walk the trigger. I'd say go for it. Teach him everything you know about paintball. You can even make him an account here and on pbnation.com. There, he will learn almost everything there is to know about paintball.

Ok, he wants to try and join my paintball team xD, and he's played before just never with a eletric gun and he's pretty into paintball after playing just a few games and I didn't wanna screw up him playing paintball by giving him the wrong gun to start with.

>:O what?!, it was probably cheaper to buy a $80 trigger, then to buy a $130 gun, that had that trigger?

I like my Spyder Pilot ACS. I think it is a good first gun for sure.
