Need advice on remotes

I just got a CORE remote with slidecheck and QD. It turned out to be defective and am returning it. O ring on the slidecheck kept getting blown out of the groove. Plus this was my first remote and I got a little scared. When I opened up the CO2 tank, the hose stiffened and bulged. From a review I read, someones remote actually blew apart.
I'm looking at these...

PSI Stainless Steel Remote - 42 Inch at ActionVillage.com : Paintball

Bulldog Paintball - ACI Coiled Remote

The ACI got great reviews. Don't know a thing about the braided steel hose. Any comments? Would a slidecheck really be useful? I should be able to add one on if I really wanted one.

Using Tippmann 98c, 20oz tanks, have stock, looking for vest for tank.
