So my gun arrived... Now what?
I searched the forums but couldn't find any posts similar, so here it goes:
I got my Spyder Sonix tonight, read the small manual on it, saw tips, etc, but it didn't really answer me one thing: should I already get some lube on it before start firing it or should I go, play once and then take it apart for cleaning/lubing?
Also, is it recommended (or necessary) to clean/lube it every time after I play to assure it keeps working perfect?
Thanks!

I'd rather lube after each day of playing, that way you know nothing is gonna happen.
after 4-5 times of playing, break everything down and give it a really good cleaning.

As once statedf by Big Balla, you're not smart. You should always, I repeat always completely disassemble you're marker after every usage to clean off paint, dirt, grime, etc, and oil it. Same with the hopper and goggle system [clean them]. Don't disassemble anything that you won't be able to put back together though.

Let me put it to you like this.....
We use STBB's for rental guns. They've lasted a couple of years under that kind of abuse because we lube them EVERYTIME. There's never going to be a problem if you oil a gun properly each time you use it...It's going to do nothing but improve longevity.
Take the gun apart, run a pull threw squeege in the top tube, wipe the bolt and striker down, put about three drops of oil on each o-ring, reassemble and go have fun. That theory works for every spyder clone ever produced....
