More expensive guns are not JUST going to mean faster. They're all accurate, all things being equal. Sometimes you need to consider build quality as well.
Try something in the spyder line and you will be as happy as you can be...

Yeah but, I mean, viewloader doesnt have very good build quality. But Spyder actually does, I was just putting it in order of what he stated. I haven't suggested them to him, I just ranked them imo.
But if your open for suggestions then I suggest a Spyder, most of their guns DO have good build quality. IE. The Spyder MR1, I thought that gun was plastic until my cousin bought one, it was full metal construction, it had real good build quality. The spyder victor, also a dependable marker, good build structure. Overall I suggest A spyder, the company does make quality low end guns.

Can you give us a limit to what you can spend or a price range?

dont want to spend over 100 on the marker. Then i can buy and electric hopper and helmet and c02. All those guns that i listed recently came with electric hoppers and c02.

They should sell the spyder imagine or ACS series for around 125$-130$ or the VS1 for 149.99$. Your best bet would be the VS1.....it has eyes, and is probably the better built of the lot

The electric hoppers they come with actually feed more poorly than a gravity fed rig. Spend the extra $$ on the VS1 now and nab the E-hopper later.
They probably are coming with the quantam by vl.....it actually pushes paint away from the feedneck, and is notorious for hopper breaks...

On second thought....
Here. It's a refurb, which means it's had all major wear points checked over and probably the electronics replaced by the factory. GREAT deal on one btw.

Those things suck. One game with my spyder xtra a few years ago and you cant even clean the paint out when it does break. I have to agree though, spend the extra on a VS1, something under $100 just isnt going to be reliable.

The VS1 is electric.. You dont need auto. 3 round burst is fine. Just learn to walk the trigger and what not.

so you think i should go with a vs1 and get a gravity hopper. Instead of getting a stryker EMX 1000 with an electric hopper goggles and c02?

Yup Spyders = ultimate beginner gun. Easy to maintain, little can go wrong with them, easy to fix problems, a plethora of aftermarket upgrades and replacement parts.
Get a Spyder and be happy

eyes are sensors located where the bolt hits the paintball. What they do is detect if a ball is there and if the marker should fire. They help ensure that the gun doesn't chop.

And yes, VS1 and gravity fed hopper will be bettert than a quantum by all means.
Don't forget a nice mask!!! I'm quite fond of Vents myself, but others have suggentes V-Force profilers and grillz, so they can't be bad either.

I highly recommend either a Profiler or Profiler SE (different styles, same price, pick your style.)! I love my Profiler it hasnt fogged at all yet! And I thank Kenny and Harasen.

I bought 8 Spyder MR1's at Wal Mart for $ 99.00 a few days ago..... It didnt include a hopper or an air tank. Just the gun and the elbow for the hopper.

I hope you mean 99.00 a piece or else thats an amazing deal.. Actionvillage sells the MR1's for $80.. You could have gotten free shipping while buying 8 of em.. And try to stay on topic. The MR1 would be a good choice for woodsball. You can easily make the E-MR1 into a speedball gun by replaceing the stock with a back cover. But I wouldn't recommend it.

YOu two who don't know what eyes are need to read the stickies....

"Eyes" on and off. As far as I’m concerned, eyes are the greatest thing to come out of the "E" gun generation. These are optical sensors in the breech of the gun that detect whether a paintball is in the breach. With them equipped and turned on, the gun will not fire unless a ball is in the breech ready to fire. It’s allowed unholy rates of fire to be possible without balls being broken by the action of the bolt.

Directly from my "how it works" sticky
