Beginner gun
I just started playin paintball on the weekends and stuff just when me and my friends get bored. Well almost all my friends have the viewloader triton II from walmart. Well ive been using one of their guns lately and ive decided to get my own and i want to be a step ahead of them if i do get one. I am trying to decide between the Spyder Imagine, Trippmann Triumph eXT, or Viewloader High voltage. let me know what ya think.

i'm a big fan of the spyder line when it comes to starting out. It's got the firepower and is easy to learn how to work on it.

how much co2 a gun uses depends upon its design. Buying off ebay is usually a good way to score a deal, but as always be careful and look out for possible scams.

Agreed! Also check their feedback. Make sure they have a nice amount of feedback and at the least 90% positive.

I'd suggest the Spyder Imagine out of those, but you could also look into the Spyder
VS1. There are a lot of them on Ebay that are all in very nice condition. First, get yourself a decent mask, such as the VForce Profiler or the VForce Grillz. Safety is WAY more important than a nice marker, tank, and hopper.
After you get a nice mask, THEN look into some markers. The Imagine and the VS1 both run nicely and safely (doing no harm to the marker), and will go great with a Viewloader Revolution loader.

They should all be shooting the same speed, no paintball gun will shoot "harder than another".
You should all have your guns shooting at about 280fps. Why people want to go over that is beyond me, your mask is rated up to about 300 and will start shattering consistently above 325. Take the time to get your guns chrono'd for the sake of your eyes. And before I hear it....playing hot does not make you tougherr, or more of a man, it makes you an idiot...
The imagine, or better yet, the VS1, is a very good way to get started. VS1 is as much gun as about 80% of people who don't play tournament need.

all guns shoot equally "hard" as they all shoot 300 feet per second. Perhaps you're more interested in how fast it shoots, how many balls per second. A vs1 will be able to shoot much faster.

thank god I'm not the only one. I'm tired of hearing people telling other people to get mid-end ot high-end guns as starting out because they are just as easy to maintain. get the spyder, get better, upgrade to an ion/pmr/slg then you will be off on your way to paintball.

more expensive guns are also made with a higher level of quality and typically have more features.

^^ yeah, not to mention how many players start off with High end guns. As stated above, players will learn to maintain a low end gun and eventually learn to maintain a high end gun.

My first gun was a VL Orion, it was a pretty good gun for a beginners gun, it broke but then my bro fixed it. My dad bought a brass eagle and it broke and he threw it against a tree and that was the last I saw of it. Do not, I repeat do not get a brass eagle, no matter if your the newbiest player out there, I guarantee it will break in within a few months of use! I have 3 extra guns now, 2 VL and 1 Spyder Victor I.. And I have to say the spyder victor has had no defects yet. Comes with a aluminum trigger unlike all those viewloaders.

the viewloader. I would highly recommend getting a spyder though.

agreed with doofy, but I'm going to tell you right now that there all three built poorly.
More expensive guns are not JUST going to mean faster. They're all accurate, all things being equal. Sometimes you need to consider build quality as well.
Try something in the spyder line and you will be as happy as you can be...
