Drop the ion from that list, even upgraded it's not in the same class as those guns. I would also drop the PMR from that list as well....and the mini.


The PM6 and the EGO are in a whole new class of guns. Personally, for my first gun, it would be the ego. You have the best chance of maintaining the gun properly and not breaking it. You will need to grab a hopper and tank with it however. The gun is a stack tubed poppet, which has been around as a gun since....well I guess the original LED angel is probably the first widely popular EP poppet gun. They're very dependable little guns, and shoot very well. They're not my personal favorite, but I've been playing long enough to know exactly why. They're also holding a better resale value than the PM6 is.


Your going to catch a lecture from SOMEONE about "not getting a high end for your first gun", then they're going to tell you the ion is your best choice. I guarantee you that ion is just as complex, and a lot more likely to break, than the ego. I will never, to my dying days, see why people think an ion is easier to maintain than an ego/angel/timmy/matrix.

I'd either get a Ego, PM6. But thats what we like. WE can't tell you what you want, we can only choose what we consider best or what we want. Dont listen to all those people who are like "OMG GET THE ION ITS THE BEST" No, no, no, its not one of the best. Its simply your opinion, just because they've gotten one they think all of the sudden its the best... Like I said.. I either get a ego, PM6, but I said 'I'. So its actually your choice of pick. I'd probably go with a ego.

So, the fact he said they all cost the same(as listed) played into this well thought out response? And your seriously implying you would take an ion out of an: Ego/mini/pm6/pmr/ion?


Like I told you man, the PM6 and the ego are going to be the best built of the pair, the mini and PMR falling in that order behind it.
