an electronic spyder. take your pick, they're all the same except for the vs2 and vs3. they require high pressure air.

VS1 most definitely.

The big glaring one is the fact the VS1 has eyes while the others don't(unless you modify the imagine...). It also seems to have a bit nicer trigger geometry, and uses threaded feedneck over the tab system(the tab'd ones will wobble after a while...).

This is the basic setup we've had about a dozen new people show up at the field over the last month or two with, and have only had one have one issue(they stripped a screw...that happens on anything..).

Spyder Vs1
VlEyeforce
Either A/S CO2 or HPA
CCM feedneck
Vforce profilers

Iplayed with that setup the other day, I have to tell you it wasn't bad at all. A nicer trigger and lighter micro switch would have made it better...

I just want a nice gun to practice with my team with fr like 3 months before I purchase another gun and start doing tournaments with them. I have like 600 to spend but I have absolutly no idea what to buy. I have been to several paintball places where you rent the equipment and it is always jamming and it basically sucks I love the sport so I want to make sound investments. Is a tippman best to start off with or can someone starting off spend some extra money on a dye?

tippmanns are great for woodsball/ scenario type play, but assuming your team is strictly speedball style, id recommend any electro spyder. Also a Hpa tank and a decent hopper, since you are going to purchase a higher end marker later on, this will save you the trouble of purchasing new equipment later on.
