JT Paintball Mask choice
I am not too sure which JT mask to get the nvader, the nForcer, the Flex 7 or another model of the JT masks. Most important thing is for the mask to have a thermal lens and to be able to accept the JT vortex fan.

A Proflex or Flex 7(the Proflex is a Flex 7 with soft ears). Also, I wouldn't use a fan.

Why wouldn't you use a fan?

it gets in the way, gets shot, and is right in the way of you hearing your buds calling out positions.

if you've got fogging problems, absolutely get a fan! There's no reason they you shouldnt' get one. from ym experience, they dont' create enough noise to impair hearing.

The only time a fan will make lots of noise is when you wear out your bearings, and that doen't happen over night.
Fans help, but I'd just go thermal lenses

I used a fan on my proteus when I still had glasses, and it helped me so much with my glasses fogging...noise was negligible, and it fit so perfectly under the visor, so it never got in the way.

Eh, I hate contacts, they always bothered me.
Even with my glasses, I never fog up for some odd reason.

It's just another thing to change the batteries on, and with a mask that aerates sufficiently you don't need to worry about fogging. That's just me, though.

I didn't use the mask for 5 years, and when I went to turn the fan on last week it worked like a champ. It runs very efficiently, and the mask had a solid seal, so fogging of my glasses was ALWAYS an issue until I got the fan.

I use the Anti Fog spray on my glasses and it worked well. I never tried a fan because I never get fogging on my new mask. I'd get a Flex and thats because my friend had one and it was quite comfortable.
