Have you ever owned a paintball marker before? I'm going to strongly suggest that you do not get a vs3. Stay away from teh rocking trigger frame; it's not faster than a nrormal trigger, it's simply a marketing scheme so they can make more money.

I suggest gettinga spyder vs1. they're easy to maintain, run fine on co2, and have anti-chop eyes do you don't break paint. now f you're wanting to run through the woods, and mud , and rivers, get a tippman 98custom instead. they're built like tanks and can endure narly anything you can throw at it.

The A5 is a more expensive 98 custom. If you want a Tippmann, buy the 98 custom.

The VS2 basically is the vs3, with a different frame.
The vs1 is a bit different but not much.

it's an overpriced version of the 98c. the only advantage is that you don't need ot buy a hopper for it. That's also teh disadvantage though because the hopper sticks out the side, impairing your view.

The only other good thing about the a-5 if the ease of disassembly issue.
It is nice to be able to put it back together with only one lightly compressed spring, the be able ti install the main like a spyder..

The A5 isn't worth the extra money spent compared to a 98 custom. You get the cyclone feed system which isn't that great, IMO and can be bought for the 98 custom if you want it anyway.
Spyder markers are great for beginners because they operate so simply. One pin out and you can clean the entire gun.

Kingman Spyder MR1 | Paintball Review | pbreview.com
PBReview.com is an okay site for getting a first impression for a gun. All of the ratings are a bit...optimistic, but if you read the pros and cons of a few reviews (and check for a "the accuracy of this review is disputed" tag on the ones that are weirder), you should get an idea of what you could be getting.

you can't go wrong with a 98 custom. the vs2-3 is not the marker for you, given they require Nitrogen/compressed air. all the other spyders are good guns to start out with, but you will be more then happy with the Tippman.
