I havent used a DM7 or anything, so I don't really know much about its particular ASA set up. But look inside the grip, and see if there is a screw or anything there that could be holding it. Just look all around the asa for more screws.

But, you may just have to pull real hard on it. I have gotten guns where people have put loctite on them to keep them on.

First disconnect the macroline then look for a set of screws (usually 2) either on the bottom of the asa on inside the grips...They are there somewhere.

It should be in the Dye section, and I don't care how long it takes. There's a reason we have subsections, otherwise we might as well just delete them all and have everything posted in paintball chat.

The manual covers this on page 14 under INTEGRATED LOCKING DOVETAIL FEATURE:
"The UltraLite frame comes equipped with an integrated locking dovetail. There is a locking screw located on the
bottom right side of the UltraLite frame. It can be accessed with a 1/8" allen key through a hole in the grips panels.
To unlock a part attached to the dovetail of the frame, turn the locking screw counter clockwise one full turn and
slide part off the rail. To attach a part to the rail, slide the part on and turn the locking screw clockwise until part is
firmly locked in place.
"
