first timer r6 problem

hey i just got a piranha r6 shot it a few times and stoped using it for a while than got back into it and hoocked p my 9 oz tank and the thing was leaking out of the knob just under the barrel so i tightened the thing as much as i could and than hooked up the tank and same thing kept happening

Can you be more specific? It sounds like you have a worn out o-ring, but you have to give us more details.

well when i hook up the tank it just leaks like hell and freezes the knob that is just under the barrel srry i dont knoww much at all i will look it up in the manual next post

oh I know what's wrong


It's leaking at the front block. Take it off, and replace the oring. they're tank o-rings on most guns.

yeah that sounds about what's wrong. unless it's that the low pressure chamber is leaking. That's not a tank oring is it?

It is the one on the tank!


it's the same size. Trust me, it may look right, but I see them all the time that look perfect, yet still leak like a sieve. Replace it and I bet it stops

Anytime you have threads leaking, replace whatever o-ring is leaking first, if that doesn't work teflon it....If that doesn't work you have a problem .

thank now i got anouther problem i hook up the tank and take a few shots and than i pause and i hear a leaking noise it isnt the blcok it was the hole wher the balls go in it is just a pising sound im not sur if i should be worried.

Replace the o-rings on the valve as well, the tank rings should work there to. make sure you re-install the valve the way it came out. IM @ driftcav03 me if you need some real time help with this, it's not at all difficult, but can be confusing the first time.
