If you're staying with CO2, you may as well keep the markers you have now and save up untill you can get compressed air. Otherwise it's just going to be about the same as you have now.
With that said, a spyder VS2 would work for you I guess.

The VS1 would be a better choice, because the VS2 needs HPA to run properly. You are right on sticking with the current markers, because a better air setup would be much more helpful in the long run.

What you have now is capable of well more than that. I guarantee you will not be shooting that fast , as most fields do not allow select fire modes, and most SF modes are at least capped below 20. I have never met someone who can sustain more then about 16 on a trigger that's not bouncing in an unsafe and uncontrollable manner.
Stay with what you have now and stop worrying about "how many bps can my gun do". They'll all shoot well faster than you can keep up, and well beyond what's SAFE to shoot.
I swear everyone should be required to play with a stock class pump for a year before your allowed to own a semi-auto gun....

The VS2 is a spyder. You can run it on CO2. It just runs better on HPA. Than again all markers pretty much do.

Kingmann says not to use co2 on a VS2. that's a pretty big red flag that tells me it's not good for it.

What about a Mini You can probably pick one up for $300 or less. Great gun shoots more than fast enough easy to maintain.
:edit: Oh sorry didn't catch the Co2 part. Get a HPa tank and a Mini than. LOL
No really I'm serious.

The big issue with CO2 on a VS2 is the bottom line reg on the gun will die a horrible death. Put a front block and aftermarket reg on it and there's nothing that can really go wrong.
That being said, jump on that vs1 with the free vs2 frame deal actionvillage has going on. The LP valve in the VS2 isn't that spectacular....not enough to notice.

VS1 is your best bet, unless you want an A-5 with e-grip.
Either should be fine with co2, but look into buying a nitro tank, just check around on some sites, action village may have them at decent prices.
After getting a nitro tank, look into getting a PMR or early PM'S like the PM5 or PM6. They sell cheap and work very well for their price.

I'd agree, but I've never shot a mini and have heard bad and good from them. I like the PMR and PM5 for cheaper guns and I've actually shot these.
but yea, go for HPA, it's a nessesity for any speedballer

The mini shoots very well, I've seen a bunch of them come through the shop, there related to mags in many ways(not exactly but similar). I DETEST the regulator with no on/off option though. Huge pain in the butt imo, and the reg is not the most consistent thing either.
One thing you need to think about with this kid is, what's his availability of air. If he's just jacking around with friends, he would be much better off with one of the Vs1/vs2framed hybrid guns from actionvillage and a couple of 20oz A/S tanks. CO2 will give you a good number more shots per ci of tank than HPA will.
Now if the kids at an all day air field it's a different story. Gotta take those factors into account when you give your advice.

very true, where i played, and where i will be playing has all day air and I have an ion so HPA is a must for me.
Yea, if your juts messin around to have fun, go for a spyder vsi with vs2 trigger.
if you are seriously planing on playing tourneys or with locals at fields, then get a PMR or PM5 for starters.
