Did I do Something Wrong?

Ok so I put the pen spring mod in and my trigger pull is alot lighter. But when I put c02 in and cock my gun the trigger is just as hard to pull as ever. It only is lighter when I dont have it cocked. Is this normal, or did I do something wrong? Is there a way to fix this?

that's because there's actually pressure against the sear when it's aired up.

in theory, it will be a few grams lighter, but you haven't made a noticable difference, sorry to say

Part of the problem is bro, your main "weight of pull" is the force required to push the sear off the striker. The only way to lighten that is to modify the sear or striker. Polishing those two pieces would help, and you could get handy with a file to make it smoother...

That being said, you do it at your own risk. Take it to a legit airsmith and have it done. Unfortunately trigger jobs on BB's are a bit of a lost art, and even I'm not sure enough of myself to offer to do it for you. talk to the boys over on mccarterbrown and see what you can find.

Polish your internals and don't use a return spring.
