HPA availability?

hey guys. thanks for helping me decide which
gun to get. i got the Vs2 and it came in today.
its sweet. but im wondering where i can get a
fill up. i read i can get them at scuba places,
and of course paintball places. but im wondering
if since its just air, could i get some sort of
adapter to put on and just fill my HPA tank up
at the gas station. using just the hose to fill
up the air in tires. is that a possibility or
would the pressure be too high? or is it just
stupid of me to ask this? the only scuba place
i know is a sports chalet, and i dont know of
any paintball places in my area. please and
thanks.

the gas station fills to 100, maybe 200psi. That equates to maybe 4 or 5 shots. Paintball tanks hold 3000-4500psi.

Seems to me you should return the vs2 and get a vs1 instead, they can use co2. HPA tanks don't hold near as many shots as a CO2 tank does so you'll be able to play longer as well.

If you want to stick with the VS2, your going to need an HPA tank, or to get a new frontblock and regulator with a good CO2 reg(cough** I might have a plamer for sale cough**).

Otherwise your going to have issues with the regulator on that gun. The VS2 CAN runCO2, it's the reg that can't handle it.

oh. hahahaha im stupid. well its not that its impossible for me to get
air. sports chalet isnt really that far(maybe 15 min) i just hoped that
since i live up the street from a gas station i might be able to use
that. anyway, i really dont want to spend anymore money on this for a
while, as im still a noob. as for swapping it with the vs1, i dont think
thats possible, but thanks for your suggestion.

and to TXAGGIE08: i really have no idea how/where to install a new
frontblock and/or regulator. i guess i could take it to some place
install it, but if i searched correctly, a palmer regulator would
cost about $100? + a co2 tank = like $120. i dont think i have any
more money to spend. haha.

I'd sell you a palmer reg that was a little beat up externally for 45$. I had it on my autococker last weekend in fact .

the block is simple, it's something you could install with one allen wrench in about ten to fifteen minutes. Trust me on this, with that gun, you can fix anything on it with the right part and a set of allens....they are not difficult to work on.

**edit, oops I'm wrong on the VS, there's a scre on adapter out now...interesting

you would need the reg

a reg adapter

and possibly a new hose kit.
