I doubt it, but you never know.

It is unlikely, but depending if certain parts are worn the marker's can shoot just be being jarred any bit.

always use a barrel bag, not barrel plug, that way even if it does shoot it will be contained

quick story, a friend of mine had a cheap mech. marker a while back, we were in the staging area and either the sear released or broke, im not sure, the first ball shot the barrel plug out, and then the second flew a few inches from my ear (i didnt have a mask on) luckly after that it started chopping and was just spraying. but thats why i dont really like to go out with people who arnt safety concious

I had an autococker shoot once while nobody was within 5 foot of it. Pretty sweet.

I had a worn-seared spyder shoot me in the foot. My cousins old Torid X(Man that thing sucked balls) had a loose grip-frame screw causing the sear to not hold the hammer well, he ended up shooting himself in the foot with wally-world paint.

I'd say no.
When the safety is "on" the power supply is cut off.
Doesn't mean you don't have to follow the safety rules and guidelines set by paintball facilities and common sense.
