Need Advice:
Hi,
So i have been playing the game on and off for about a year now, going about twice a month to a site i know in my area and have finally decided to buy my own gear and do it a bit more seriously.
I would like to think i know a bit about tactics, descisions etc.. But when it comes to markers and what to fit to them i know very little. To that end i have decided to get myself a Smart Parts Eos and need some adive on what to pair it up with; i.e what type of hopper? What type of system, and specifically what bottle to buy? What are the best price/grade paintballs to get? What is a good mask to own that is also relitively cheap.
Any help is appreciated, thanks very much.

check out the stickies in the new player section, they should answer most of these questions pretty well.
As for air, do not buy a metal tank, they're heavy as crap. so long as any tank you buy is within the hydro date(something else ot read about in the air section stickies) you're fine. it can use any tank so long as teh tank has threads on the end of it. People will come and say get a low pressure output or high pressure output tank, but in the end, you marker will still work with either one.

Thanks very much, when you say 'threads' on the end of the tank, what do you mean? And is air or c02 better?

air is required for an EOS. Unless you want to spend more than a compressed air tank costs to run a co2 tank i highly reccomend against it.
by thereads i mean thredding. some older tanks have a funny connector on them.

CP, DXS, Crossfire are all top notch tanks, and just FYI, the manual says that there's nothing wrong with it, and the warrenty covers any damage by CO2, thanks to the MaxFlo Vert R Regulator.
Get yourself some SL33K lube while you're at it, will keep you within the warrenty and make sure you take care of your marker well, will treat you well if you do the same for it

a good and cheap mask are the "JT" brand. yes i know very ummmm noobish but i really dont care, as long as i have a mask. and a good cheap compressed air tank are the "steelese" (spelling error) the run for about $85.00 and the CP, DXS, Crossfire run for $130.00 and up. but good luck and have fun...

Get yourself a nice mask. A cheap JT will most likely be uncomfortable and fog very badly. A good mask will fix both of those problems.
I'd reccomend you not get a steelie either. You can find used 3000psi or 4500psi fiber wraped tanks on ebay and the BST section of PB Nation for pretty cheap. Just make sure it's still in hydro.
