even still you should look into a viewloader revolution or richochet apache. gravity feeds have a tendancy to not feed well even with a mechanical marker.

Electric hopper doesn't mean it needs to be an electric gun. I know people who play pump with agitated hoppers.

agitation just solves the issue of paint misfeeding and backing up. If anything fast mech guns need electro hoppers MORE than electronic guns...

true, since it doesnt have eyes it will just slam the bolt forward when you pull the trigger reguardless of if theres a paintball there or not, or if theres one only halfway in, which is probably whats happening, i had a halo tsa hopper, it kept up pretty good when i had a fish. force feeds are always better than agitators though.

I saw a Halo TSA in action, wasn't too impressed.

Don't go cheap, get a good hopper and be happy

TSA, apache, revvy are all about the same thing. The egg is mildly force fed, it kind pushes them into the tube, but it doesn't build a constant ball stack with tension...

Agitators are ok for a mech, you more than likely wont ever outshoot them. The force fed option is the sure fire guarantee though.

I use an Egg3 on my single trigger mech Spyder Imagine >.<
Man, I love that thing (the Spyder, hopper is only decent at best)

Eggys fail miserably, the eggy3 would be okay but it's price is way too high.

The cheapest hopper that I would get for something serious would be a VL Eye-Force
