Okay, so I'll admit it: I'm a paintball noob. I've been playing with my friends for a month or two, but we just play rec-ball on their property. I am just starting to get out on my own, and have a quick question: Obviously, I'm going to want to upgrade to a 20oz CO2 tank as I just got my first marker of my own. What I want to know is, is there a method for refilling your tank? I mean, I don't expect you'll have to buy a new $25 tank after every 1000 balls; that'd be crazy!

P.S. Whenever I've played before, I have borrowed a friend's marker and we've always stopped before running out of gas.

go to a local paintball store and they generally will refill a 20oz for 5 or 6 dollars. you can also get them filled at ACE hardware

Okay, thanks. I was almost certain there was a simple way to get it done, but I wasn't sure. What about N2 though? It is any more expensive to get refilled?

not too much more if any. but paintball stores are about the only place to get them filled

agreed, depends on where but some shops crarge less for air than co2 (maybe a dollar, not much) but ya go to a shop, gennerally places like a hardware store dont know how to fill them properly and you will walk out with a 3/4 full co2 tank
