All,

I have a couple of questions for the more knowledgeable among you.

1. The secondary regulator on the VS2 goes up to 300 psi. For nominal operation, the manual suggests that 200 psi or a little better is used. This number seems to be the minimal pressure needed for autococking. What ill effects does the marker experience while operating at the max pressure.

2. I had a full charge on the battery. I shot perhaps 200 shots over the course of 2 days. On the third day I went to shoot some more and discovered that the battery was dead. I did pull the marker out of a hot car. Not overly hot, but hot. Could the heat impact the battery that much, or are these batteries known for not holding a charge. Obviously the concern would be having to bring more than one charged battery to the field.

3. How good is the stock barrel on a VS2 in your opinion? I’m not itching to get a new barrel already and the marker seems fairly accurate. Just curious.

4. I’m sure this has already been discussed before, so forgive my lack of searching. Is there a good starting point for the velocity adjuster. The manual says nothing. You know, something on the order of screw all the way in and then back out half a turn or something.

1. Nothing bad will happen if you're still within operating pressure (max or not)

2. If you didn't charge the battery for 12 hours on the first charge, that might be the problem

3. It gets the job done, but a J&J is just like $35 and much better

4. It doesn't matter, just adjust till you get to your desired velocity.

3. I've heard that stock barrels leave a lot to be desired. Is the vs2 stock any different?
4. Anything I can use to get me close to field velocity without a chrono. Again, like all the way in and back out a turn.

3. The stock barrel is fine on the VS2, the paintball companies are finally understanding that a good stock barrel makes happy people, but there is better than the stock VS2 barrel

4. No not really, i guess if you had a high speed camera, a measurement board, and a set distance, you could find muzzle velocity, but I doubt you got that.

1. Don't get over 300 psi : this will not harm the marker, but it will harm the gauge, so it will not show good pressure again. Best pressure for the VS2 is around 250 psi, whatever the manual says.

2. Even if the marker is shut down, it drains the battery. With the facts that it takes at least 3 full charged to get the battery fully fonctionnal, it is not anormal that the battery died after 3 days. When full charged, the marker will shoot about 2500-3000 shots in a day, but remember that the battery is drained even if the marker is shut down.

I don't think the heat could harm the battery, actually it's heating up when charging...

3. The stock barrel is OK, and you shouldn't have to think at this right now. Keep your money to get a very good mask, or more paint to shoot

4. There's no way to verify if the velocity adjuster is in a good position. When the marker will be set at 250 PSI, you turn the velocity adjuster to shoot faster or slower. You should use a chrono to know how fast you shoot.
