Is playing at night any fun.
I am having a all night woodsball match with my friends and I was wondering if it is any fun to play during the night.

if you dont' liek abele to see where you're shooting, sure it's fun.
I did it ina 24 hour game and called it a night early because I couldn't tell where i was shooting and woudl have ened up simply wasting paint.

i hate playing in the dark. last time i went to the indoor field the lights wouldn't turn on and it ruined the experience somewhat. still got to play but didn't see anything. wiping constnatly was fun though.
it wasn't a bad experience but i'd rather play in the light.

I'd bring some radios along if you're in a big area.

in order to simulate it, breath straight onto your lense spin around in circles a few times, then start a normal day game, that will be close, you cant tell who is on your team and you cant see what your shooting at

I have yet to experience a night game, I want to play a night game. Sounds like it might be fun even if you cant see. But if your in the woods and you can be stealthy and have patience, you can just lye on the ground and wait for someone to walk past you and light em up.

airball in stadium lighting would be fun, but wouldn't really be into most other paintball games at night except for the fact that it'd be cooler (as in actual temperature)

A night game with a big fort and some lighting would be fun. Say, the castle/fort has lights around it, and the surrounding woods don't. That way the defenders can see only so far, and the attackers have to come into the light to attack.

Why not play during a full moon. That would greatly increase night visibility. As long as it isn't too cloudy. Sounds like fun.

If you are under leaves and behind a tree and wait, and somes foot is literally inches away im sure you'll be able to tell if its light enough.

ya cuz a paintball going 300 fps from inches away isnt dangerous at all, and if you want to memorize what everyones shoes look like then go ahead, but im trying to save you a headache here, trust me iv done it, even in a field that was surrounded by tiki torches, there still wasnt enoufgh light. if your that insistant on trying then by all means ignore what im trying to tell you and go try it, but after its done and you feel like you wasted a perfectly good night and 500+ paintballs shooting at a noise in the woods, just remember, i told you so

ya your probably right but i still think that if i was shot in near black conditions from a few inches (or feet whatever) away it would probably put a big dent in the whole "fun" aspect of the game, getting shot withought having adrenalin pumping through your body is no fun, not to mention having NO indication that you are about to be shot

I am having it next week. We have 78 acres and the thing I am going to try to do is to have two teams with there own lil camp area. I will give them so much time to get ready like an hour and then we will sound the horn to start it all off. They will be able to attack each other at anytime during the night and go wherever they want on the property so hopefully everything goes good.

be sure to set safe zones where you go can without a mask and know for sure that nobody will be shooting at you. Wearing a mask for that long will suck badly.
