Good woodsball Gun

I have a tippmann 98 custom with a 14" J&J ceramic barrel already and I was thinking about getting a new gun. What also would be a good woodsball gun to get.

If you want something strictly for woodsball, you already have the best gun made. If you want a gun that will be better all around, what price are you looking at? Spyder VS-2, Proto Matrix Rail, Invert Mini, Intimidators, Promasters, Fusion all significantly better than your 98...

Have a look at the smart parts sp-1. Keep the 98, it's always good to have it.

The 98 used to be the best affordable woodsball marker around but I'm going to hand that crown to the SP-1. $150 for a true electro pneumatic marker that reliably shoots 11bps, works decently on CO2 (big deal for woodsballers)and has an antichop system that works well enough for a gravity hopper to be an option. The SP-1 is the marker Tippmann should have made instead of dressing up the 98 for the last few years.

I am willing to spend a little more than 200 on a new gun. So I am looking for the best woodsball gun under 250$.

Look at the post before you, the sp-1 is the perfect gun for you.

with hpa your marker won't freeze up when shooting fast, you also won't get velocity spikes or shootdown, you can play in cold weather and still have a more consistent fps. hpa is also easier on the orings. and no walmart does not fill hpa, you will have to go to a field or paintball shop also some but not all scuba shops can fill them.
