first question: where would i get co2 and how much would it cost?
second: whats the cheapest way to upgrade to hpa? and where would i get the air and how much would that cost?
third: what are the types of games like woodsball and all that?

0. Don't get a 98c, there is much better for cheaper or the same price (SP1, VS1, etc.)

1. CO2 can be filled at paintball fields, some sporting goods stores, paintball pro-shops, and any place with RhinoPower

2. Cheapest way to upgrade to HPA is to just buy the tank. Make sure you get a 4500psi tank though, I find any 3000psi tank (including the fiber ones) to be a bad choice.

3. There is woodsball, speedball, hyperball, and many variations to all of those games.

98c is alright...but it costs waaaay too much money to compete with other cheaper guns. Like AZN, HPA should be ur first upgrade, unless u get the 98c then it should be ur barrel bc the stock one is good for nothin more than a paperweight

aiight most local paintball shops/scuba shops will be able to fill ur tank.

Speedball:very quick rounds. small playing field with lots of bunkers. primary goal is usually to eliminate evryone on the other team or capture the flag.

Woodsball: as the name implies, played in the woods. Much more strategic. Again, the objective is usually to capture a flag on the opposing teams base.

I havent played hyperball so its anyones guess

the problem with that is i don't have any local paintball shops or scuba shops. could i use a fill station (for tires) as a gas station? or maybe an air compresser?
and could someone point me in the direction of the cheapest hpa tank?

hey i dont know if this is the right thread to post this on but i couldnt find any other good ones. I have a Spdyer TL-r and i am looking to add a sight on to it. I know that i would need an offset rail but i read somewhere that you can't put one on a spyder. I was wondering if you could put it on or not and if you can does anyone know th rail size of a spyder tl-r?

i dont think a non-industrial compressor could even come close to filling an HPA tank. try visiting any fields near by they usually do free refills if u play

cheapest HPA tank all depends on what u want. Generally a carbon fiber 68/4500 will run u about $160. steel 68/3000 tanks will run u around $60 dollars so use those numbers to find a good deal somewhere bc prices vary from place to place

correct, your standard garage compressor can fill maybe 175psi, no where near the 3000 or 4500 your looking for, a 98c opperates at 750-800 psi, not to mention the air that those compressors use is dirty and wet, not good for markers at all!

nobody is going to be able to give you a good explanation of the games, go to youtube and search for speedball and woodsball, im sure you can find plenty of videos that will give you a feel for each,

as for where to fill, paintball shops are the best place, they can gennerally fill hpa and co2, scuba shops can usually fill to 3000 psi, sporting goods stors can sometimes fill co2 but gennerally the technitians there do not know how to propperly fill the tank and you will walk out with a half full tank. I have never seen a gas station that can fill anything but propane(if your thinking about the compressors forget it, they are just the same as the garage ones) and some welding shops will fill hpa or co2 its just kinda hit and miss and they have the same problem filling co2 that the sporting goods stores do
