Yea i was about to get the "sniper" package too but just stick with a vs1 or the new pilot for a bit more.

A 16in is sometimes good for woodsball for different reasons but range isn't one of them. But if your planning on playing different types of paintball go with a 14in, like everybodys been saying get the J&J or CP =)

Craigslist is great but always be prepared for the markers to need some work. Sometimes you will get lucky and the marker will be like new but other times a kid could be trying to offload something he destroyed. If you want to know if you are getting a deal feel free to post up the ad here and someone will tell you an approximate value.

Range is all the same paintballs are always subject to velocity restrictions so a paintball shot at 280fps will go the same distance no matter what marker is shooting it. You can buy a VS1 just about anywhere Spyders are as common as sand on the beach that is one of the main reasons I don't like them it seems like everyone is shooting either a Tippmann or a Spyder.
