agreed, i think in the long run you will be a lot happier getting a pmr over any ion, the ions are everywhere therefore they are nothing special anymore, i have yet to play against someone shotting a PMR. But for the price the PMR is largly reguarded as one of the best deals on the market, if you were to compare price to preformance, ease of use, etc.

Alright, I'm looking up stuff online for the PMR as I type this. I'm finding a few different types: The Proto, Virtue, and there might be more. Any differences reallY?
EDIT: Nevermind, I was reading titles wrong. Out of the two types, the SLG and the Rail, I enjoy the Rail much better and the reviews that I'm reading are pushing me towards the Rail.

Oh ya, the rail is going to be much better than the slg, but if you can get the rail SE.

I'm not seeing much of a difference between the regular Rail and the SE. What's the difference?

Does that affect the marker performance wise? Because I don't mind the non-metal that much, probably lighter too. Or is it simply just more durable?

teh non metal parts wear out and break. You'll end up replacing them.

What parts of the marker arent metal? I mean... if its really going to pay for itself in the long run, I'll get the SE. But if its not much of a big deal then I'll go with the cheaper version.

I remember reading something about that. They said that if you replace it with a different kind, it won't strip.
What exactly is the back cap? Does it have to do with the bolt?

Its not THAT important, but for $30 more you get a good back cap, saving you about $18 already, and the trigger will be better, the trigger guard will be better and the feedneck is going to be better too. Thats not too bad.
