Question Dye Dm9 or Angel a1 joy fly?

Im in the market to purchase a new marker I got about 1500 to spend I really like both markers.. I really dont know what one is going to be more reliable or easy to fix.. If any one has any suggestions or knowledge on these markers let me know.. Or if any one knows of a better marker to buy please let me know.. oh ya one more thing should I get a halo loader or a rotor loader??..Im personally leaning toward a rotor.. thanks a lot..... I would definitely go with DM9.

Both are great gun but i believe it is not so easy to fix angel markers.
As far is i know, finding a parts for A5 is really hard but i dont know so much about A1... but i would say they are about the same...

DM9 parts/upgrades are everywhere.

just because of that, id get DM9... and i actually had chance to shoot one few days ago and it was amazing!!!

Question Dye Dm9 or Angel a1 joy fly?

Im really leaning towards the Dye dm9 Im pretty sure thats the one Im going to get I have heard only good things about it.. so is that empire loader one of the best loaders out there?? or is there something better?? Cause that new rotor loader that dye makes looks really tight and super easy to fix.. but the only down side is that its like 150 if any one knows about it or has one let me know.. Thanks alot

Angel A1 Fly for sure. Kiss technology, soft faced bolt, and upgrades everywere. There's no way that Angel's newest gun will have hard to find parts or be hard to fix.

I'd take the A1 Fly over the DM9 any day

if your going dm though, go get a DM8, i dont know that there are any changes between the 8 and the 9 (besides a half inch and a ounce) and you could pick up a 8 at a much lower price

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that makes a firearm better makes a paintball marker worse. They are 2 very different worlds with nothing except a trigger in common

I'd take the A1 Fly first, BUT...if you're going to buy a Dye Matrix, get a DM7 or 8 instead. The 7 actually is almost as light as the 9 (the 8 was actually heavier than the 7). Realistically, other than dropping the weight they added and adding more adjustments to the trigger, the 9 is still just a milled version of the 6 with no REAL improvement. I personally wouldn't see a reason to spend $1400 on a marker from 2006, when you could get what's nearly identical for about $600-$800.

the only problem i see with going with the 7 over the 8 is that parts will become scarce faster. im having problems getting parts for my 6 now and so i dont think its too long before the 7 has the same issue

Question Dye Dm9 or Angel a1 joy fly? Detents

Are the new detents in the dm9 better than the ones in the previous models cause I have heard that they had some problems with those.. There seems to be a lot of hype about that new feature but is it really worth the extra money?? And is it better than the one in the angel??

dont get a 6, i have one, they are good markers its just that parts are hard to come by.

ok i take that back, the only way i suggest you get a 6 is if you also get a large parts kit with it, spending the extra $150 on a parts kit will make sure you have anything you need for years

Wes.

A1 Fly is the current top of the line Angel. And, IMO, the BEST multi-tube Poppet made, far surpassing the smoothness of Ego8, SL8R, Ego9, or Vice. While getting efficiency every bit as good as any of the aforementioned Poppets.
