I was wondering which is better for getting more shots outa ur gun.I have a spyder mr1 using a 24 oz CO2 tank. Can i get more shots out of a HPA tank of any size or should i stick with my CO2?
per volume since co2 is stored as a liquid it will give you more shots, stick with your co2 if you want the most shots out of each tank

Thanks for the reply. Ill get one when we start playing at paintball places.while we play in our own fields ill stick with the co2. I wanna get the smart parts sp8 but that sucks if i have to use compressed air all the time.thats gunna be expensive.maybe ill jus go with the a5 like i was originally planning.i wanna milsim marker that looks like a real gun without spending up the ass.
the sp8 is a very overpriced ion, dont get it. a5 is an overpriced 98c, again, not worth it. look into the sp1 if you want a litle mil sim look, it will still work on co2, but you may or may not need a anti-sihon tube depending on wich version of the sp1 you get, there is also the smart parts vibe that doesnt look crazy mil sim but imo has better preformance

and hpa is generally not more expensive then co2 for fills.
only the start up cost.
but eventually, youll freeze enough o rings to equal that start up cost.
eventually.

i really doubt that, iv been in paintball for about 5 years and have spent around $15 on o-rings so if we extrapolate that out it means if im in paintball for another 35 years that will equal a HPA tank at todays price, now granted im already running hpa but cut that in half and its still 17 years before youll acumulate enoufgh cost in o-rings to equal a hpa tank. fome some situations co2 is a better choise, if your trying to get the most shots out of a tank like above or if your on a limited budget co2 is a better choice

I want a marker that looks as real as possible n still werks good.I like the a5 cuz it looks and performs but a bunch of my buddies have em or r tradin their crappy guns for an a5 so id rather get smtg original.I want a real lookin rifle. The SP1 doesnt really fit wat im lookin for.The sp8 looks awesome n id totally buy it if it didnt have to always run on hpa.We play on a field we set up n in sm woods from bout 10am til 2pm.I dnt want a gun w hpa rite now cuz theres no way id play for very long n that wud suk.lol
ok #1, type out words, nobody on here likes to get out a decoder to figure out what you are trying to say
and #2, i dont know why your asking us what you want to get, it seems like you already have your mind set on the a-5 or sp8, both of which are a huge waste of money but hey, its your money do what you want to with it. if the look of the marker will make you happy then sure get something that looks good but for most of us around here, we would rather have something that looks horrible yet preforms amazing, i wouldnt care if my marker was painted in primer grey and someone offered me a decked out a5 for it, id take the primer grey and preformance over something that is a blowback but looks good.
anything that looks milsim, about 95% of the time you can assume its lower preformance, this is not the military we are in, its paintball, so why have something that looks like a military gun?

#1 that was a real dickhead move doing that because all i wanted to know is if maybe someone had any advice on a marker that looks like a real gun.if i wanted to be like everyone else id get a paintball marker that looks dumb as ****.I do remember sayin a real looking marker that PERFORMS.obviously that was to much to comprehend so whatever.
#2 the reason I play paintball is because Im a military fan and love the whole milsim thing.Playing paintball with guns that resemble the militarys weapons give it the realism i want as a player.I know im not the only one that likes milsim or NOONE would buy the accessories or guns that look like real fire arms.If your goin to be a dick just do the world a favor and dont ****in say anything. All i wanted was some ****ing advice from someone that knows a little more than me on the sport.I know there are guns out there that look like real guns and perform well and i wanted to know if anyone tried anything good.THANKS FOR NOTHING BUT BEING A DICK
Tame it down folks.
Whiteness, he was offer money-saving ways. We get a lot of people who come in here wanting a mil-sim marker because they think they're actually better because they look real. There is no need to take what he said offensively, as it was not a mean-spirited post at all.
If you want mil-sim, look at the alpha black series, they make vrey realistic markers for an affordable price.
Again im sorry for taking it too far.i dont really want a alpha black.i was looking at the ariakon sim5 and the sim4.Anything on those?and i got into paintball for the same reason i got into airsoft years ago.i can get that military feeling that gets my adrenaline going without dying.i just want a good milsim gun.please help me out here.im not after your speedball regular old style paintball guns.
n im not saying that milsim guns perform better than alot of markers.i just want one that performs pretty good.Im not tryin to be really cheap either.i just want one that runs on co2 and hpa.
There are only a handful of markers that look like real guns and don't totally suck. The TM7, Bob Long MTac, AGD Tac One, SP1, ATS markers (mag fed). Most milsim markers are just basic blowbacks with a stock or rails attached and they just don't work all that well as paintball markers.
