A snap of a rubber band. From a distance most of the time it will just sting for a min at most. I've been shot point blank and had blood gushing out of my arm and left a good scar, thats the worst and its only happened once. If your worried get arm pads and a neck protector, those are the only places i get hit(mostly)
A neck guard is a plus value when thinking about protection. The neck skin is thin and sensible.
Everything else sting, but it's ok. Don't be afraid, actually that sensation is part of the fun. Believe in me : you won't have fun until being shot once
Don't be afraid of getting shot. It's like hockey. If ya get nailed you get nailed. No big deal. It only hurts for a few seconds. Oh, and if you hear a pinging noise, it just means your guns been hit. thats all
dude listen...if its at a place where you can play as long as you want as many times as you want do this for your first game....run up the middle of the field like an idiot and let yourself get shot a couple times. trust me once you get hit you wont be afraid playing your first actual game and you might actually function and be able to have fun. it works for most people.
i reccomend the dynasty drill, you and a friend stand 50 feet apart then count to 3 fire one shot at each other taking turns so he goes then you go then he goes then you go until you each get hit 5 times that works
