what happens since CO2 is stored in the tank as a liquid is as you shoot some of it boils off and turns to a gas, but at higher rates of fire you are using CO2 faster than it can boil off and turn to a gas, so soon you start to siphon liquid co2 up into your marker, as the liquid boils to a gas it gets very cold, so if its boiling off while in contact with o-rings the o-rings get very cold and brittle, thats when they are very easy to break and offten do.
Cyclone is not the best idea IMO if your using CO2 (well i rarely think its a good idea) if you siphon liquid co2 up into the marker its also going into the cyclone and causing problems there. best idea at this point honestly is to sell this marker and get something else, for the price of the cyclone and RT alone you can get a electronic spyder with eyes, if you need to still use CO2 look at the SP1 and vibe both are a mid level marker with a budget price that will work off of CO2
but if you want to keep the 98 my best advise would be to switch to HPA and get a good forcefeed hopper, the reason is both of these can go onto whichever marker you get next, if you get the cyclone you can not transfer it over to whichever marker you get next
