The regs on the VS series are ok, but there are better performers. A new reg is not really all that necessary unless you really care about sharp consistency from shot to shot or about the looks of the marker.

That and a good reg could cost you as much as a brand new VS2.

I'd suggest that you forget about the peer pressure and keep the marker as it is and care for it carefully.

not really. It depends what you want to use it for. Any marker could use a barrel kit to ensure more accuracy, and the screwlocks on the VS series suck, so those are things to consider, but otherwise the VS2 is a fine marker.

The spyder VS2 is a really good marker, even stock. There's no need to upgrade it. I personnaly bought a blue body kit and blue barrel tip for it, but that's cosmetic, that wasn't a necessity.

You'll be fine, just save to get an HPA tank.

Lol, let them sink money into their Tippmann's

They're just being stupid and pig-headed; technology has advanced, and the old school 98c has been surpassed in both price and performance

Hey I wanna know it too ! I'm always defending spyders because of their simplicity and reliability.

BTW the G3 balanced valve allow the marker to run on much lower pressure, which reduce kick alot. That's a good thing when you plan to shoot 10+bps

lol you guys are going to like this, right now on that forum im arguing with about the largest tippmann fanboy iv ever come accross, he said that he has shot "high end" markers so i asked him if he ever shot a 05 impulse or a closed bolt dm/pm line marker or a spool valved cocker (i know this one is possible but if he doesnt know what mods make it possible it would be a clear indication he doesnt know what he is talking about)

he just convieniently didnt comment on that part of my post in his reply
