Spyder or Vibe/SP1. Spyder equal to the Tippman but cheaper. Vibe/SP1 about the same price as Tippmanns but FAR, FAR, FAR, FAR, FAR superior performance. Tippmann is one of the worst values in paintball except for those stratospherically priced markers such as Marq Victories, Egos, Geos, Luxe, etc.

We are not bashing systematicly on Tippmanns. If you want one, get one, but I strongly suggest you to buy used. Brand new Tippmanns are overpriced, and you can find much better for the very same price.

Agreed. I love my 98 custom, and I love my dad's A5. I'm a tippy fan. I think it's a good choice, but it's all about what you want.

Either buy a used Tippmann or buy a BT. BT is in the same place Tippmann was when they came out with the original M98. Considering how much I disdain the new Tippmanns, but loved my old M98, that's a compliment.

Or, if we're talking used, see if you can find an old minimag.
