new to sport

hey everyone im looking to get into paintball and i have 250 bucks to spend but i would rather only spend 200. If you really think its gonna be worth it to spend the extra 50 then tell me! im looking to buy a decent gun with a hopper, co2 tank, and a mask. i've looked into a couple guns but really dont know what to get! if you could please give me a couple links that would be great! thanks!

oh also im looking for a small gun to play speedball i believe its called? because it seems like you can take a small gun into the woods but its harder to take a huge gun into the arena

Spyder MR1 Military Tactical Paintball Marker Gun Package - Olive: 103458997 Paintball Guns Store - Tippmann Spyder BT Empire Ion Paintball Guns

That's a good package for what your wanting. It has a stock for woods play, and you can take it off for speedball. It's a simple semi auto gun. It's a good starter pack.

Are you looking to buy new or used?

If you are looking to buy new, then imo, there are four guns you should be looking at:

1. Piranha GTI+ Rampage
2. Spyder Sonix
3. Spyder Victor
4. Spyder Xtra
5. Azodin Kaos
6. BT4 Combat

Personally, I have a soft spot for the Kaos. With that being said, you should go to your local PB shop and see them in person, if possible. Also be sure to check out PBreview. Any of these guns will leave you around $100 to spend on a hopper and mask, and the majority of that $100 should go towards the mask. If you can, try and find more packages like the one TippmannFireman mentioned.

Also, if you choose to look at pbreview. I suggest reading only the negative ratings, and maybe only a few of the positive ones as PBreview is normally extremely biased.

1. Get a good mask
Vents, Empire, Invert, JT Spectra, Dye, Proto, and V-Force all make great masks that are comfy and don't fog

2. Get a good hopper
Vl Eye-Force or an Invert Too will last you your entire paintball career and will never need to be replaced by "something better"

3. Use your remaining money on a gun, field fees and paintballs

I'd look into a Spyder; cheap, easy to clean, reliable, and moddable
After that, just save up your money for a better gun

What are you trying to say?

Btw. All those markers aren't worth it. Get yourself a Tippmann Custom 98 for starters. It has a huge upgrade path. A Spyder marker is nice too and cheap. Both can be rebuilt cheaply. Also, Tippmanns are known to be more durable and reliable than any other marker. You can dig with them for god sakes. Run them over, throw them out the car window, just about anything and it'll still shoot.

I'd suggest looking at this Mirad: are you about to reccomend a tippman? Stop and read this first. . E-spyder or Vibe is the way to go.

fixed ^^^

blitz and vibe are good choices but the EW-1 is probably the best value on the market right now, it is a rebadged vs1 that is selling for $60!!! will easily outperform a 98 or tippmann of anykind for a third of the price, o and be just as reliable
