Alright, here's the deal. I love my 98 custom to death. I think a 98 custom pro package would be great for you. But if you get one, BUY USED!! Tippmanns are way to expensive new. What kind of ball will you be playing? Speedball, or woodsball?

I've always suggested Tippmanns to new players because they are duable, easy to find parts, easy to get repaired, and are easy to work on if you want to work on them your self. Perfect for a new player.

Tippman used price is really cheap, and since they are so easy to fix and so on, i wouldn't worry about buying used. If you really want a new marker then go ahead and buy one, but you don't have to.

If you can find a tippman for cheap and don't insist on putting over-priced "upgrades" on it, I say go for it.

If you're looking for something that's fast shooting, and lightweight look at a spyder.

any of them, they are all stacked tube blowbacks, personally i think the pilot with eye is good, electronic grip frame and eyes for around $160.

the azodin's that i've seen are identical to spyders. They shoot alright when working, but are currently broken.

ya i got nothing against the azodins but i have to wonder how readily parts are available for them, i have never seen a shop carrying them so that tells me anything specific to them could only be found online. if they are using a bunch of standard parts this wouldnt be an issue though

That's whats great about the azodin products, they use all standard fittings unlike spyders so you will be fine on parts.
