Alrighty. I've played paintball twice (so I'm an amateur big time). The reason being my mom is too overprotective and will find any excuse not to get me a gun. So I figured why not use the internet and get one myself? So a couple questions:

Is this site legit? And does it offer worthwhile gear for a noob like me?
Has anyone played tagball and is it actually, as they advertise, like indoor paintball?

I would say does anyone know where to get good, legit cheap gear, but it would require my parents to give me a credit card, and as I said, they don't really approve.

Not a clue about that site, but try Actionvillage. Legit, pretty cheap, and they have a pretty big selection.

As for tagball, I don't think I'd do that.. I'd just stick with paintball.

i wouldnt go behind ur moms back and get a gun. u need to sit down with ur mom and explain to her that ur chances of getting hurt are very slim as long as u us all the safety rules. try to explain to ur mom that playing football or any high school sport or riding a bmx bike are more dangerous than paintball. explain to her all the safety equipment that is used and all the precautions that are taken while playing. all mothers are over protective cuz u are there baby. but show ur mom that u are mature enough to own a paintball gun and explain to ur mom what the sport is about and show her how much interest u have in getting into the sport. and also bring up the point that paintball could occupy some of ur free time, so instead of running around and getting into trouble or getting into drugs, u could be out playing paintball with ur friends and u are supervised by adults at the fields so she wouldnt have to worry. if u go behind ur moms back and get a gun then more than likely she is gonna take ur gun away and then u just screwed up ur chances worse than it was before.

i wouldnt trust a site that advertises free gear, they are just selling your personal information to advertising companies and it takes forever to actually get anything out of them. tagball is nothing like paintball, iv never played but considering the objects in that game are going 50fps and paintballs are around 285 fps there will be a large difference

99% of the time sites like that sell your info, or never give what they supposedly offer. Also if you want to play tagball, go get a rubber band and some paintballs, same thing just cheaper.....

And as said above it would be a bad idea to sneak behind your mom and get a marker. Because that's the quickest way to never get to play the game...
