Well, "reasonable" can cover alot of things. A brand new DM9 for $700 is a good price, but I'm sure that's more than you'd be wanting to spend. So, what's your price range?

yeah 700 dollars is a little to much for me to start out with!! i was thinking around 200- 250! but i would like to have a complete gun for that not just marker!!
Check this out. It seems to me to be a pretty good deal considering you get everything you need. Now, does your local paintball shot fill HPA tanks? Or just CO2?

ehh id stay away from that package, cheap hopper, ok mask and very small air tank, gennerally its a MUCH better idea to spend a few extra bucks putting together your own package, in the long run it will save you money because you will not have to replace all the stuff that comes with the marker
id go vibe, 20oz co2 with a AS tube installed, a invert too and good mask (get the mask first not last) it should run you right around $250, then when you have the money get a HPA tank

You want to keep your eyeballs intact and installed in your head, right? The mask is what ensures that happens.
Of course, but won't any mask do as long as it's got your eyes and face covered and has anti fog? I don't see the point in paying extra for a pricier mask.
Quality of design, quality of protection, field of vision that they allow. Most cheap masks don't cover as much, as well, and have a field of vision often only about 110* (horisontally) or less. The better quality masks will have a field of vision of 160-170* HUGE help when you can use your peripheral vision, ecspecially in woodsball and scenario games.
not to menation better material in the higher end masks, no itchy foam or things that poke you in the side of the head
the mask is the most important piece of equipment you have, thats why you get it first and do not go cheap

I really like the Proto masks. They don't have the REALLY high field of view of some of the other masks, but they're nicely made, durable, quality material, and can be had CHEAP, like $20-$25 if you look around enough.
the difference between a good mask and a ok mask is night and day trust me. i went from a BE mask that had a good field of vision and i figured was adiquate to a dye invision, couldnt believe the difference, then again from the invisions to some e-vents. i now own 2 pairs of e-vents and will never go back to anything on a budget
