ok so i played a lot of paintball a few years back but i stopped playing for a few different reasons. i was thinking of getting back into it but i have no idea what marker or loader or anything to buy. i used to have an ion and it was ok only problem was the neck where the loader fit was terrible. any suggestions on a good gun to buy for around the same price as the ion, and also a good loader for whichever gun? thanks

ok so who makes the mini and what is a PMR?

Pmr is proto's marker
Mini is empires marker

invert makes the mini, it is their first marker and as long as you dont get a gen 1 mini, it is quite nice (i have one) the PMR is the Proto Matrix Rail, a high mid level marker

Mini is a pressure controlled poppet (hybrid poppet, first of its kind) and the PMR is a unbalanced spool (probably the nicest unbalanced spool on the market) iv never shot a PMR but kick will be pretty close on them, the PMR will be a little quieter

Kee distributes BT and Piranha and a boatload of other products. Basically if you play paintball on even a rec level you've given a few dollars to Kee.

o ya, i forgot about the TM7 and 15, but besides those two since they are mini clones is the mini KEEs first stab at an electro-pneumatic marker?

I'd say an Invert Mini or Dangerous Power Fusion. Both of them are like 1000 times better than your orginal Ion. maybe a million times better....

The best loader on the market is the Dye Rotor, but its really expensive. One of the best value buy is the Velocity Jr, More than fast enough and really well made.

I would stay away from the Ion. The other markers listed will out preform them, have higher quality, and arn't from Sp.

Yar, they are a massive distributor, and have a lot of exclusive agreements with manufacturers. Take everything NPS had and just about double it.

Kaz has a point, defiantly check out the F7 or the F8. F7 can be had new for 200, and I've seen used F8's go for around the same.

Yeah, its wierd at how the 07 and 08 fusions have kinda fallen off the map in terms of people talking about them. They shoot great, just because dangerous powers dosn't make a new model of them dosn't mean you can't get parts for them and so on. I'd seriously look into them. They can be had for $150 or so if you're lucky.

iv never even seen a F7 or 8 up here near Seattle, the G3 is DPs only marker up here.

i believe redz ion is a BOB marker so it would be ok, but if that is in your pricerange i dont see how a mini or pmr is not, jump on ebay, used is the best way to buy gear imo, iv never bought a new marker.
