What hoppper should...?
Hey guys I have recently been researching paintball and I think I am going to go with spyder fenix 2012, 20oz co2 and an empire helix mask. This take me to around 200$. I want to try to stay below 250$ if possible so what would be a good hopper for around 50$? I have looked Ito the invert halo too but it does seem a little pricey considering I do not go paintballing very often. So I would like to know what is a good hoppper around 50$ that will keep up with the spyder fenix and that does not continuously run. Thanks guys!

You don't need to cross post. one part of the board will do.
Halo Too is the best bang for the buck.

Same thing with old Halos. But for new, you'd be best off with a Halo Too

You might be thinking of the Quantum Loader. I believe that the agitator was a razor blade...

you know, to this day i've never seen one. I've only heard of them in hushed whispers.
But yea; Halo too hoppers are the bast bang for your buck. They've got the tried and true halo internal parts, combined with a nice, durable shell.

not the viewloader quantum that was a bad design with that cat tail agitator worse design of a loader imo you were better off using a standard 200 rnd loader than that clear/black 140 rnd garbage. good for playing pump maybe. i had one of the original halo A's and it did nothing but jam or break paint then i switched to the revvy never looked back, got five of them now a long with two vlocitys and one richochet apache lcd. i also agree that the halo too in this day and age is the best bang hopper right out of the box with no need for upgrading unless you saw fit for the bottom dollar.

I saw the jt revolution at dickssporyinggoods and it looked pretty decent. Only question I had was is it continuously running? Or does it only turn on as paintballs are needed. If I rember correctly, I think it said it had infrared sensors on the box. Is that the same as eyes?

The box has infrared sensors? Haha, had to say it. That is what it means yes. For the price of the JT Revolution, you should be able to afford a Halo Too. That being said, the hopper shouldn't be continuously running, that's generally only agitators.

Why not just pick one up used? You'll get a much better hopper for the same price...

if you cant get a new halo too, then a used halo too it is
the revy you have a picture of up there
A) can you please take it down or at least re-size it so it is does not rape everyones margins anymore
B) its a terrible choice, its an agitator and i would not trust it to reliably feed 8bps much less 12

It's reliably feed 8. Just not much if any more than 8.
