My brother's friend owns a paintball place and bought a bunch of the new Tippmann tf-12 rentals. I ended up going and found one in the dirt and brought it back. Oddly enough he gave me the gun for being a good guy. I cleaned it up and it works great, the only problem is if I go there and he is not working or if I go to another place that uses these (their pretty popular by me) they might think I am trying to steal it, so how can I change it to make it not look like the normal rental version for kinda cheap?

I was told I can spray paint the yellow grips, and try to find a different handle or barrel but HOW DO I KNOW WHICH WILL FIT IN MY GUN?

Any advice would greatly help, and as you can tell I an very new to this lol

You could always call Tippmann and see if you could buy a set of FT-12 retail grips since they now have a version for retail also.

not sure what barrels the FT-12 takes.

I think the f12 uses standard 98 threads

Also there is the number of the gun carved into the top of the gun... would you guys just recommend filing it off and spraying black?

lots of people spray paint tippmenns, its a great way to make it unique

just search around for some ideas and i say go nuts! have some fun with it, make it really unique

and then post the results here
