Where to get good pods, paintballs and ect?
Hey guys so I just got a very nice set up and I'm wondering where I can get some nice pods, and a good podpack that someone might reccomend? I also am wondering what balls I should be shooting? I know to never use monsterballs so don't worry about that But yeah what should I use as a set up, how many pods should i bring to the field ect. If this is the wrong place to put this I'm very sorry :/ Also the gun I bought has the wrong virtue board in it. Its a Pm6, but I cant tell what board it is. Its a 4 prong ribbon cable instead of the 3. Is there a way to sell it or even better are there any wire eyes that can be put into a pm6? That would be very helpful.. If not I have no idea what the board is or what its worth so if you can help ill post a picture of it. Right now I have the stock board in.
Once again, Thanks!

you can find a used(or almost new) pod pack over on the b/s/t of pbnation or mcarterbrown.
NXE makes great packs. Valken as well. Honestly, in this day and age, most packs are built very solidly.
If you want some cheap pods, I've got a ton I can send to you; I've upgraded to fat boy pods and love them. I usually run with 3 or 4 more pods than I carry onto the field. That way when I come back from playing, I can grab some full pods and be ready to play agian.

Thanks for that swift response man, And how much would you be looking for on the pods? I don't really know what to look for in pods as I have just been using the JT pods from my local sports authority. They run $8 a pod and its just way too expensive..

wow that is price gouging at it finest!
I picked up my fat boy pods for around $1.50 each i think on sale from ANSgear.
I can send you a box full of pods for the price of shipping. they're well used, but the lids all work properly. I'm trying to donwsize my gear, and just don't use them anymore.
I may be able to get you a brand new valken pack, let me ask my friend; i think he's got one laying around. Not sure on the price, though. I think your'e gonna have to talk to him though, and he's in another city than me.

I do not know how much it will cost to ship. I can go ship them, then report back to you, though. Let me know how many pods you want.
You'll have to talk to my friend about pricing as well; I can't speak for him.

Meaning they're no longer in production.
Don't get me wrong, they're resilient as all hell... but replacing them after they eventually break is going to become increasingly difficult. Currently - the only people I'm aware of that still have stock are ANSgear.

I bought about 10 of them when they were on sale a few months ago.

I can't stand the loclids. They're too big, and they always get stuck in my pack. I'm a huge fan of the Empire pods. They're a little bigger than normal pods, and the pop tops have three areas where you can open them up, so you don't have to fumble around for the tab. A local store around here sells them, so that's a plus.
If you're looking for gear, try your local paintball store.

We have a lock lid pod. Nobody knows how we got it, but we refuse to carry it onto the field because it's so strange. It lives in the pits and we use it to top off hoppers.

I love lock lids. I own nothing but lock lids, and if I ever ran out, I dare say I'd be more likely to take up pump play than I would to ever buy another type of pod.

Exact opposite of Miller. I bought 2. Much like Martix, they sit in my pod bag and are used to full-fill a Rotor before games.
You can't mark them with tape very effectively. They don't fit well into a Dye harness....the thumb latch doesn't position its self well for ...I forget what hand it is...I think its Left handed reloads while shooting right? (though it could be the opposite).
I'm a FatBoy guy myself.. but I started looking around. I love the Proto Alphas. They aren't as hard to open as the ANS generics (think they're GenxGlobal currently). I have issues with the Empires and opening on me (bought 5...sold 5).
Valkens aren't too bad though...and as Trbo said awhile back... ANS generic $2 pods? Not too bad either.. Just a bit stiff to open.

I hear you can sand downt he lip of the ANS pods and it gets easier to open. I think that's where i'm headed, when the fat boys run out.
