Budget
If my budget is $800 tops for a marker, hopper, tank... basically the whole gun setup to get me on the field, what should I buy?
I was thinking a base Impulse with vision. I can always upgrade as I get some cash.
What's your opinions?

I think you should get an 04 cocker or an 04 BKO. Along with an HPA tank, electronic hopper and a nice thermal mask.

you could do what pepsi said....
you could get an 04 cocker with some small upgrades..... like a unimount, ultralite, maby an external part or 2 (like a 3 way). then get a 68/4500 fiber tank. those are perfect IMO. then get a pair of proflexs. and finally get an evo 2, revvy, or halo, depending on how much money you got left over.

there just isnt enough out for mags, compared to cockers.... plus mags look ugly, cept the one movintarget has..... teh secks

if you don't own either gun, don't say that (yes, I can read your sig). and cockers are better than mags, but i guess it's preference.
Get a cocker, 68/4500 tank, halo b, and whatever you want for gear. eventually that will be a killer marker if you put money into it (eblade, new internals, etc.)

Let's not turn this into another Cocker vs Mag debate. And don't throw your personal suggestions so much at him because I hated when people did that. It just confused me.
A base Impule is a great gun to go with. They are fast, accurate and just great guns. For $800 you could get that, a nice hopper, N2 tank, and everything else you need.
