Re: IMPULSE

What's a WAS board? LPR? DROP FORWARD?

What's the difference for Vision ready and Vision?

was board

its a circut board that works great and has eyes.

lpr

it is a low pressure regulator. it alows you to lower the pressure goin to the bolt.

drop forward

it attaches to the bottom of your gun and the asa goes on it. it moves your tank forward and down to make it more comfortable to move.

vision ready means it dosnt have vision, but you can buy a vision kit and basically drop it in. vision already has the kit installed.

more specifically on vision if you don't already know:

The vision eyes are sending a beam across the feedneck. If the beam is unbroken (no ball), the marker will not fire, if the beam is broken (ball), the marker fires.

That's how a revvy words. It starts feeding when the beam is unbroken. But a revvy doesn't stop your gun from firing.

i'm talking about the vision eyes on an impulse that are connected to the board. if there is no ball in the breach, the marker will not fire, unless you set it to do so(bad idea for playing).

Yeah I know what you meant. I'm just saying that revvys work similar to that. If the beam is unbroken, it will feed. If it is broken, it won't.

More specifically, it is the regulator that lowers the pressure enough for the pneumatics.

Most rams need 150psi OR LESS to operate, but most paintball guns need 300psi OR MORE for the primary valve.

SO, many guns have 2 regulators. A LPR to operate the pneumatics, and a standard reg to operate the valve.

Its possible to use 1 regulator (ie IMPS), but the problem is that the bolt sometimes jams because there is not enough flow to operate both effectively from 1 regulator.
