Storing paintballs
I live in the very hot, humid South Florida. And We usually dont ahve the A/C on during the day so it can get really hot in the house. What would be the best way to store my paintballs. Or would I be better off storing them over a friends house with the A/c on?
Thanks.

put them in the fridge.
also, flip them over every day or two so they remain spherical.

Maybe just keep them in a closet or something. How hot is it?

a cooler with cool water, and little ice usually works really good. Just make sure bags arent ripped or damaged. And once and a while if not using for a while move the bags around so their not sitting in one spot for a long time.

We want to store them, not make love to them.
I just keep mine in my closet or something.
But damn, 90 degrees with 85% humidity sounds miserable

I keep my paintballs in an amo box that my dad got from the base where he works. Believe it or not I've never had a flat sided ball. What u do is as soon as you get the paintballs, take them out the plastic and out the box and pop dem in dat ammo box. Make sure there is room. If its too cramped in there most likely they will get flat spots. The reason I say take them out of the box then the bag is because it helps prevent flat spots.

try putting them in a cooler with ice. Also is there anything wrong with keeping the paintballs in the plastic bag they can in?

I don't think so, but the reason I take them out asap is they kinda get a lil cramped in that bag in that box and they don't get any air so they develop flat spots.

We dont turn the A/C on so we can save some money.
Believe it or not. I just so happen to have a ammo box laying around in my garage. but I have to check it out first. I think it has some rusting on it. lol
The cooler thing sounds interesting too. I got one of those as well.

you should check out your garage floor to see if it's cool.. if it's concrete it'll probably be the perfect temp... so you could just put the bags on the floor with a box over them or something.. and rotate them every once in awhile ot avoid dimples.

Wow.... I'm glad we can afford our power bill. It's blazing hot and wet here in AL, too.
The basement idea sounds like the best. The cooler will get hot, as will the ammo box, faster than the basment will.

This is why you read the stickies, well anyway just go here: Guide: Taking care of your paint.
If you are gonna put it in a cooler than just put cold packs and not ice in their. Also RPS wont swell as much as other paint.
