If its not electronic you can.
You can throw mechs in water...Pro shops just hose down there rentals and hang them to dry.
If its because of the borken paintball...I would just clean it out like we suggested....water wont unjam your gun.

you dont want to water to sit in places in your gun becasue certain peicies can rust. In tippys only the linkage arm and the rear bolt can rust, i think...

After every game, I strip my gun completely, and clean everything individually. I use a cup of warm water to dip stuff in, then I have paper towels/ a rag to qipe it off and I let them dry on a paper towel.
Just make sure you reoil O-rings and double check that everything is back the way its supposed to be.

Perhaps when he said "washing machine", he really meant "dishwasher". I can see how a dishwasher would work, you could just set the gun on the top rack and not use any soap.

yeah, a dishwasher would be ok, but not a washing machine, just use a garden hose on it. [sarcasm]and another thing, if you use the washing machine, make sure to put it in the drier afterwards lol.[/sarcasm]
