Regulator Upgrade

I'm currently going thru a deal of 110shipped for 65/45 nitro tank and was wondering if I should sell my barely used X-chamber and get a regulator or just wait later on for a used cocker that already has a regulator on it. If I should get a regulator whats the cheapest one that works pretty good n $$ of it.

well you expansion chamber is doing absolutely nothing when you hook up your nitro so unless you are getting that cocker very soon I reccomend buying a reg right now. About buying a cheap one, I say just spend big now and be happy later. Buying a cheap reg wont be worth it because it probly won't do much better than running your tank alone. Look into buying an AKA sidewinder or CP reg. The CP will be cheaper but harder to find.

you can get CP Regs a XPaintball.com. The long ones are $66, and the short ones are $64.

I'd go for the reg now. My Gladiator has always worked well, if that helps.

Yeah, get the reg. There are lots of choices out ther for under $60, and it'll help your gun's performance immeasurably.

how? who cares about an occasional spike? Is that all it does, is prevent spikes? if so, why in the fart would you spend $60 on a reg.?

not just occasional spikes...it keeps the pressure in every shot more consistent...this means tighter groupings which translates into better accuracy through volume.

I've heard good stuff about the Gladiator, but its 84$ should be worth it. Try it out, if your not happy with it i'll gladly take it off your hands
oh and rookie, look around for a cheaper site on which to get your upgrades...50 bux for a teardrop, thats a rip.

Cowch, preventing occasional spikes and keeping the pressure in every shot more sonsistent are the same thing. But still, if you have a crap barrel having a good reg you will see little improvement.

definately get a good reg like those mentioned above, it will bring you much joy. and when you get your cocker, you will the have a dual reg system for extra consistency.
