Is shooting a Imagine (electric) without CO2 in it and without cocking it but having the marker on bad for it?

Ur just waisting battery. You cant shoot it unless its cocked so nothing bad is happening besides wasting the battery.

Well i have an imagine and my friend told me that cocking and firing with no Co2 just to hear the click or even turning it on and firing without cocking to hear that click its very bad for the firing mechanism but i read the instructions i dont see nothing saying not to.

well, it could wear out the electronics if you did it constantly for several days, but if you just do it occasionally it's shouldn't do more than remove the charge from your battery.

That's known as Air-Less Dry Firing, there shouldn't be wear to the mechanics, however it may not be very good on the board inside the marker.
