paintball is recorded as one of the most safe sports ever. Believe it or not paintball is safer than bowling and many other sports.
Random info- How can u call paintball unsafe when 36 kids under the age of 10 were killed playing baseball in the us !

No im am not counting the instances when c02 has been proppeled as a rocket killing people. But remember that is not because of paintball but the company that wasnt as safe as they should have been with there c02 devices. That is also partly the owners fault for not following the c02 safety rules
No people are not mean. Despite the fact that many are wearing full camo and look tuff most of em are quite helpful and help newbs with equipment and answering questions. I was one shot like 7 times by the same guy and after that the whole day he kept apologizing and at the end of the day he won a pb junkies t shirt in a raffle and gave it to me !
So paintballers are usually nice people who would be happy to help u !
When Playing paintball as long as u follow the rules and wear a PAINBALL mask and keep your barrel plug in u shouldnt be seriously harmed.

Paintball is becoming a HUGE sport played around the world. Think about it, 11,600,00+ people play paintball, how many times have you heard about someone dying becasue of a paintball on the news or something ? Why would that many people play it if it was SO dangerous

they may of heard of the military using pb as training. they might say paintball was created by the army for the army, but i assure u that the milirtay adopted pb into THEIR training not the other way around. Paintball is not about markers that looks like m16's or hurting people or being wannabe marines. Pb now is much focused on speedball which are people wearing flashy colorful jerseys and promoting the sport (plz no argument, im not baggin on anyone)
there are different ways to play, recball/woodsball where you play in wooded areas on in fields with trees. some may where camo some wont but they are not trying to be wannabe marines. the fields for woodsball are much larger and contain trees and dirt and rocks and plants !
there is Speedball. Where peopel play on small courts and play very aggressive. Most are played with inflatable bunkers much like the bouncers at parties butr smaller and shaped differently. These are wut pro teams do. This is fast pace adrenaline making paintball where if u snooze u lose
some dont like it cause its not "strategical enuff" (no argument plz)
There is also Scenario where people act out famous battles and try to look military like with guns modded to look like m16 and such. It is played in a woodsball enviroment where hard core scenario players dress in military fatiques and military like pb markers. many are 12 hours to 24 hour games !!!
i have never been to one but im sure they are fun
If u follow the rules and use common sense paintball is actually quite a safe sport !
