Cocker would be a better choice in the long run.

if you have a price of at most 300, try to get a T.E.S., it's better than spyders, and only costs 175ish? then you could also do some upgrading on it.... very good gun looks good, and an ACE...

You like coke or pepsi? Why switch to the other? Get a mag. Thats what i'm doing. Fast, and simple, yet sexy.

well dont switch from tippy to a spyder, there really is no point. best thing to do is save up for a bushmaster or mag (cocker would be great as well if your looking for an amazing marker down the road)

Either that or get a Dragun T.E.S. Accurate, fast, and has a eye. Has all of the spyders home done mods profesinally done. Comes with a regulator and looks spify. Great stock bolt to.

But above all get teh mag.

id agree with tes or mag, elec or not
thats about what it some down to, and i say tes because it looks cooler
and everyone knows that if your gun looks cooler, its easier to get HEAD SHOTS!
(dont forget stickers!)

Lol punk. I would go with the mag. I am gonna buy one, and i have seen them in action, they are accurate, and with the rt, they are about the fastest mech around. Oh and response trigger just kicks back your trigger or resets it. Unlike on some spyders and stuff where it shoots on the pull and the release. Plus the rt is field legal.

Keep the 98c, moving from a 98c to a spyder is just not enough of a quality jump. (IMO its a downgrade, but thats just me and my freinds bitter rivalries talking). If your gonna get a new gun, save for something like a used cocker or something better than a low end.

Mags are pretty cool since they are a blow forward instead of a blow back like tippmanns. It makes tham a more efficient mech marker. If I upgrade, I will probably look into a mag.

Please dont downgrade to a stacked tube blowback. You shame all tippmann owners! (Joking - dont flame)!

Well if you wanted an electric, you could easily make a mag electric if you could find a centerflag hyperframe or if your creative with a piranha eforce frame, I remember seeing someone mod one of those on pbn.

The ULE X Valve mag's are really nice for around $600 or so.

But I'm sure alpha doesnt like electric.

Get a dragun tes, its a great gun. Shoots like a highend for a 1/4 the money.

Electric is nice. But Mech is cheaper, and I'm poor.

if yoru going to get a new marker than get a higher end marker. Don't by a tippy and switch to a spyder because your staying in the same class. look for an 03 autococker, they should be pretty cheap now.

hey the mag willl keep up alpha don't worry, plus you ain't gonna have tinker and mess around with a cocker on the mag, i was playing with a kid and he had to adjust his gun after everyround and missed a couple rounds cuzz he could never get it shooting right, and this has happened everytime i see cockers playing they always go down at some point, never saw a mag go down though.
