Well personal value comes into play too. If you really wanna ball and the stereo doesnt get much use anyways then go for it. If you ever need sound u can spend $40 on pc speakers with a subwoofer and plug it into ur cd player and that will probably give you better sound. Its mostly about preference. How old is your stereo? check its price on ebay. That gives you a feel for what its worth.

well if u don't use your sterio that much i would take the gun but its all in your opinion if u use the sterio alot and music is your life i would keep the sterio it sounds like a pretty even deal though
