how much are you willing to spend, if you can spend up to $200, I would go for a barrel kit, like the pipe kit, empire kit, or the stainless steal freak kit, if your looking for something $100 or less go with a boomstick or all american, and $50 and under go with a teardrop, cp 1 peice, or j&j ceramics

Any high quality barrel will work well with any gun.

Sam ebarrel thats good for a One will be good with a mag. Just depends on the threads. I highly suggested a mag to you instead of a One becuase your going to want to improve, and taking that giant leap is better then takign a short step if you know you're really into the sport.

Try otu a mag. Go to a local proshop and ask if it would be possible to test fire on or hold one.

First off, what kind of mag is it?

If it takes the standard mag twist lock threads, i'd say don't worry about a good barrel now, save up for the ULE body, which uses cocker threads. AGD twist lock is going out the window, so there is no sense in really investing in it, when Cocker threads are becoming more and more the standard.

Ok, you have your barrel threads, i'd say next check out your paintball level. If you're the type of player that plays a lot and can really see dumping money into a barrel, then go for a kit! If money is tight, and you need something to get you by, but not break your wallet. I would then highly suggest getting a J&J or All American. Depending on where you go, i prefer ebay, you can find some sweet deals on barrels. Those two seem to work them best in my past experiences.

Good luck!
