yeah, get a nice piranha, the e-force gti is good, same with the mech one, both are nice n cheap. or, if you have a bit more money pooled, the evo is the best one.

dude, just mow lawns. wait a few weeks without playing, just working, and you'll be able to get a decent gun package (spyder).

imo piranhas are more reliable and efficient than spyders.

that would be good, but then you'd have to buy the hopper - $5 the tank $25 the elbo - $2 and the mask - $30-50

Yup i just read through this and i was thinking spyder xtra package the entire time. Its not gonna be the best marker out there for sure. But if he's a younger kid and just tryin paintball for the first time with that kind of budget its gonna be good. See if he likes it then once u get some more money if hes stuck to the gun get a better barrel for it which will help with acuracy.

I'm kind of biased, but a great beginner gun would be the tippmann 98 starter package. It comes with everything you should need, 200rd hopper, barrel plug, 9 ounce, and a squeegy. It is about under 200$ for the package if I'm not mistaken. The tippmann is a really good, really reliable gun, you can easily upgrade it, and it is really easy to maintain. I don't know if the same is for the jt excellerator, but I'd steer towards the tippmann 98 custom starter package, can be purchased at almost all online paintball retail sites.

i found a package on the internet that has a spyder xtra, 20 oz tank, gravity feed hopper, v-force mask, and a barrel condom for $115. sounds like a pretty good deal to me. and i found a 3 pod pack with pods and belt for $17 on xpaintball so he could get that too. so were lookin at like 130-135. sound good?
